This article, published in Stanford International Policy Review, is a recent analysis I co-authored. It mainly deals with China's engagement with regional integration in Africa. We the East African Community (EAC) as a case study, mainly focusing on China's role in infrastructure development in the region and its trade policy toward the regional bloc. The analysis suggests that while Beijing's role in infrastructure development has the potential of boosting the EAC's regional integration prospect, its current trade practices are proving to be a stumbling block for the regional bloc. Find out more about the analysis and its conclusions.
